Hands-on first impressions of Samsung’s latest flagship
In this post, I’m going to reveal some thoughts about the S25 Ultra following a super-secret hands-on session with it in London last week.
I repeat: this isn’t a full review. That’ll come after I’ve spent quality time with the phone. But I still have lots of thoughts.
As far as I’m concerned, Samsung’s latest flagship has a lot riding on it. Regular readers will recall my love of the S24 Ultra. I said it was — and it remains — the best smartphone I’ve ever used, overall. The design, display, performance, camera, and overall vibe (check me out) of the device were just utterly brilliant. So much so that I switched to it, full-time, for a huge chunk of 2024.
I’m an iPhone guy, remember. I don’t do that lightly.
So, the big question: is the S25 Ultra capable of continuing my love affair with the iPhone’s arch-enemy?
