Having used the new MagSafe, I dearly wish a USB C iPhone was on the way. It won’t happen, you’re right, but MagSafe is cumbersome with Apple’s charger and everything else on my desk accepts USB C. I’d personally take convenience over minor innovations like this from Apple.
