I think it depends how big a deal those trade-offs are, really, Bob. If the benefits of the new device outweigh any niggles, that's always cool in my book. There are always compromises.

As for keeping the mini for that kind of use, unfortunately not - I already have two carries thanks to being in Android land daily, too! But in another world, another place, another time - not a bad idea!
