Nice article, Henry. I think the overriding thing with these headphones is that Apple just doesn’t give a sh*t what we think about the price. _That’s_ the Apple tax. It’s why they charge ridiculous sums for cables, watch straps and cases. All this stuff is a byline on their revenue reports and contributes to the luxury brand image, as you suggest. This kind of pricing will continue for as long as they’re making biblical profits from the iPhone and services.

More importantly… are you getting a pair?!
