Not really, mate. I’ll probably earn about $0.20 from this article in affiliate links — would I really waste my time writing something for that?

This piece was written because I’m genuinely appalled by the quality of this cable. I think people are being ripped off by Apple. If you read the entire article (thanks, for starters, because I’m clearly not your cup of tea), you’ll hopefully have picked up on the fact that I think the pricing strategy for this cable reveals a rather unpalatable side of Apple which I thought was on the way out.
