Nothing Has Just Taken a Huge Gamble (And I’m Here for It)
My Nothing Headphone (1) review
Over the last few years, I’ve figured out that reviewing headphones is actually a lot easier than you might think.
This is because most of the key talking points are entirely subjective. The audio, the design, the case, and the various lifestyle elements that come with owning a pair of headphones in 2025 are entirely down to my — and your — opinion.
However, if you’re a manufacturer, the task is much harder — particularly if you’re launching your first pair of headphones, as Nothing is doing this week with the Headphone (1). There’s a lot to screw up here, which makes any decision to launch a brand-new pair of noise-cancelling cans a very brave move indeed.
I’ve been putting the Headphone (1) through their paces for the last week or so, and in this review, I’ll reveal what Nothing has got right, what needs to be improved next time, and whether or not you should buy them.
Pricing and specs
