Thanks for getting involved and clearing that up, Terrie. But I’m afraid this only serves to illustrate my point that the manual curation system is over engineered. What Medium and its readers needs is a great algorithm that offers a level of predictability and absence of subjectivity that can’t be matched by humans. That approach works on every other big content platform.

It’s reassuring that you guys are keeping an eye on the discontent behind the scenes. I’ll be keeping a very close eye on my performance here as a writer because, as it stands, it’s a dreadful time to be a tech writer on Medium.
