Thanks for reading and commenting, Victor. This isn’t a ‘hit piece’ on Apple, though. On the contrary, I’m incredibly impressed with what they’ve done. It’s just that the law of diminishing returns will arrive far earlier for most folk with these new M1 chips. This isn’t Apple’s fault, and it is indeed an inevitability as chip design continues its ascent. There really is no problem to write about at all — I’m all about helping consumers make the best possible decision with their hard-earned money.
