I’d understand why. We now have a much more capable base model iPhone 17 and a brand-new entrant in the iPhone Air, which, as risky as it might seem in terms of battery life and camera flexibility, feels like the first genuinely new iPhone for a long time.
Apple is smart, though. It knows that the changes made to the rest of the iPhone lineup might impact your desire to spend as much money as possible, which is why we now have a Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Aesthetics to one side, I think the iPhone 17 Pro lineup this year needs very careful consideration. This isn’t intended to be an in-depth review (I haven’t had my iPhone 17 Pro Max for long enough), but it is intended to help you if you’re currently unsure about what to buy.
