This is the first time I’ve dedicated an entire article to the next generation of M1 chips, Bill; I’ve remained relatively quiet on the subject until now. It’s not a ‘placeholder’ article in my mind (I’m not sure what that is, to be honest!), but I appreciate this kind of analysis won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

For what it’s worth, I totally agree on the chip names; it’s just marketing and completely meaningless. As noted at the end of my article, I’m waiting for one machine in particular for a very specific reason — just like you.
