Will the Galaxy Fold 6 Tempt Me Further From the iPhone?

I got hands-on with the Fold 6 last week!

Samsung announced seven new products at Unpacked 2024 today. That may or may not be a record — I’m not entirely sure, but what I do know is that it gives people like me an awful lot of work to do.

This isn’t a moan — I have a wonderful job — but it does mean that I need to suss out what I think my audience is most interested in. That’s tough when we have two new phones from an incredibly popular and divisive range, the first ever Galaxy finger-born wearable, a totally redesigned set of earbuds, and what looks like a serious Apple Watch Ultra 2 competitor.

I still need to mull all of this over, but I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of people are interested in the latest iteration of Samsung’s foldable — the Galaxy Z Fold 6. So, today, I want to give you my first impressions of that new device, because I was lucky enough to get a quick hands-on with it in London last week.
