You sum everything up neatly, Peter. I’ve come to realise that there are two types of password manager user — power users and normal users. I sit within the latter camp, as do most of my audience, which is why open source password managers aren’t on my radar. I completely understand why some prefer to use the likes of Bitwarden, and I respect their decision, but I rarely receive the same respect from them, which is a shame.
